1. Product Overview
UR6PH is an expandable I/O daughter card exclusively for GE UR series universal power protection relays, installed via internal rack slot of the main relay unit to expand digital signal access and control output capacity.
It carries 4 independent galvanically isolated digital input channels for picking up on-site switchgear dry contact status (breaker position, earthing switch, fault trip feedback). Six Form-A single-pole normally open relay outputs are used to directly control trip coils, alarm devices and auxiliary interlock circuits. Optional built-in sampling circuit supports auxiliary voltage/current measurement for auxiliary loop monitoring.
The module integrates triple industrial Ethernet ports, native support for IEC 61850 GOOSE substation interlock communication and Modbus TCP industrial Ethernet protocol, realizing fast cross-device logic interlock in intelligent substation.
All channels adopt surge suppression and ESD protection, wide temperature industrial hardware design, suitable for high electromagnetic interference environment of power distribution room. GE official discontinued production, only refurbished and surplus new spare parts available in aftermarket, widely used in thermal power, hydropower, petrochemical power distribution substation protection systems.
